Services Provided
We offer repair and restoration for a wide variety of radios from the 1920's to the present. Just about all brands are serviceable. All of the restorations, and/or repairs, include all new, modern electronic components. The tubes (or solid state components) are tested and if not in good condition they are replaced. Wiring is inspected and replaced as necessary. Our restorations take the approach that if you look inside the radio from the back or at the outside of the cabinet, it looks basically original to how it came off the assembly line. The difference is what you do not see inside the chassis. That is where the modern components are installed and where it counts, in order to have a radio that looks original but will last for decades to come. We also do refinishing and repair on the cabinets if possible and requested.
The Cost
Of course the most important question! Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to give a quote without having the radio on the bench for evaluation. So many points to look over and assess and every radio is different. The best way is to contact us by email or phone. If you can send me photos by text or email, that would be most helpful. I can then give you a general idea of the cost but keep in mind that the cost may, and usually does vary after hands-on examination.

We are a repair and restoration service only. We do not accept walk-ins except by appointment. Radios are accepted by shipping them to us, or can be delivered to us by appointment ONLY. Please contact us to make arrangements.
